About
The Compassionate Friends Queensland (TCF) supports and cares for families following the death of a child of any age and from any cause. Our services are provided from the lived experience of others who themselves have lost a child, sibling, or grandchild and understand the indescribable pain and anguish, allowing us to provide compassionate peer support that deeply resonates with bereaved families. TCF provides a safe and supportive place for bereaved families to connect with others who are further on in their journey, and by freely expressing emotions, fears, and memories, to help them find fresh hope and strength for living through their association with each other.

The Compassionate Friends Queensland (TCF) believes in the innate resilience of bereaved families, their capacity to find hope, and their ability to support and uplift each other in their grief journey.
Our Mission
The mission of The Compassionate Friends Queensland (TCF) is to provide a nurturing environment where bereaved families can find solace, understanding, and companionship as they navigate the challenging path of grief and healing.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community where no bereaved family feels alone or unsupported, where empathy and compassion are the cornerstones of healing, and where the memories of our precious children, siblings, and grandchildren are honored and cherished.
